Keep Safe, Keep Warm

 If you find you have to remain inside the property, plan to move upstairs in good time if you can. If you can, move your car to higher ground as long as it is safe to do so.

If you have time, lift items including furniture (such as on top of the dining table, or on top of kitchen counters) and place sentimental and cherished items in a safe and higher place. Roll up any carpet or rugs that are still dry, and tie up or lift curtains.

Turn off water, electricity and gas if advised to.

Check on your neighbours and anyone who may need your help.
